With over 30 years in residential property management and senior leadership – including extensive experience in multifamily communities – I developed a deep appreciation for the impact thoughtfully designed environments can have on how people live, feel, and connect within a space.
Throughout my career, I was drawn to the presentation, atmosphere, and emotional experience of home. Alongside my longtime love of décor, styling, and thoughtfully curated spaces, I found myself especially inspired by the way intentional design can completely transform how a home feels and functions.
In addition to my professional experience, I have personally bought, sold, and invested in multiple homes, giving me firsthand insight into the emotional and practical side of preparing a property for everyday living and market presentation.
Refined Spaces by Rita was created from that passion: blending thoughtful styling, warmth, functionality, and elevated design to create spaces that feel both welcoming and beautifully intentional.

My story began long before starting this business. Throughout years of working in real estate and property management, along with renovating, furnishing, and preparing homes of my own, I became fascinated by the way thoughtfully designed spaces can completely change how a home feels. I realized I loved helping people see the potential in their homes — whether preparing to sell, settling into a new chapter, or simply wanting to fall back in love with where they live.
